Krackeroca
Ingredients
2 sleeves of Saltine crackers
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 ½ Chocolate Chips
1 ½ cup Roca
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
Line sheet pan with aluminum foil making sure to tuck in corners spraying with cooking spray
Place whole saltine crackers on sheet pan to fill the sheet without overlapping
In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar over medium heat. Once the butter is completely melted, turn up the heat. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Continue cooking until bubbles form in the middle and edges.Cook for around 3 minutes.
Quickly pour caramel over crackers, spreading evenly.
Place in oven for 5 minutes
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel. Let sit until the chocolate chips turn glossy and shiny, about 3 minutes. Spread over caramel.
Sprinkle Roca topping over chocolate and let krakeroca sit for about 10-15 minutes to cool down. Then place in the refrigerator for several hours.
Remove from the refrigerator. Using the foil, lift and crack the Krackeroca.
