Soldiers stationed at nearby Camp Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis McCord) loved it, and it didn’t take long for locals to catch on to its charm. In 1923, the candy’s name was changed to “Mountain,” making it easier to spread the word far and wide about this delicious bar!
